For the moment everything works fine. PixelPost does its job at best and runs very stable. I can recommand it for all similar purposes – photoblogs of course
And for the blog ‘m still using WordPress which is really great, expandable and very easy to use…

Yep, I just upgraded my PixelPost
engine to present photographs from 1.7.1 to 1.7.3 what was easy to manage. A bit more difficult was the procedure to backup my SQL database from the server because I never had to do this before. I finally managed it, but I’m not sure if a reinstallation would work fine. Fortunately nothing crashed during the upgrading process… So if you’re crawling through my website you’ve got the 1.7.3 feeling
Thanks for visiting and have a nice day

Very interesting developement that Canon made within the basic camera line. I wonder why they decided to build the 1000D beside the 450D. Yes I’ve studied the specifications and I know the differences between the two camera models. The main significant difference is the much larger 3” LCD display on the 450D. But fact is definitely that both DSLR cameras have been designed for beginners as an alternative to bridge cameras.

Last week I was leading a little discussion with my sister about purchasing a new camera. For her purposes the ideal cam would have been a bridge camera like the Sony HX1 because at the moment she is a beginner and she took only photographs with her small compact cam. Instead of that bridge camera she bought a brandnew DSLR a Nikon D90 with a Nikkor 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 zoomlens. In a few weeks I’ll going to ask her how it’s going and what would be her first experiences…

Yep, just started to publish some smaller photographs, usually 500×500 pixels at maximum of a personal photoshooting. You can reach them by clicking on the pulldowm menu “photoshootings” of course.
Enjoy it

Now I’ve done the implementation on my website, so that always a new tab is opening when you press the “blog” button… By the way the design is breathtaking! Thanks to Daniel Fajardo.
Enjoy it

Yesterday I took the decision to insert a subdomain with a WordPress blog on my website in order to have the opportunity to post some thoughts about my work as a photographer. Feel free to come back to follow the irregular postings.
